Care: Hand wash with mild soap and dry right away; not dishwasher safe, do not soak. Slate is ideal for serving and light slicing of cheese, fruit, and bread. Stone is harder on knife edges than wood, so use a cheese knife and keep heavy chopping for a wood board.
